Henry, who is continuing his career as both a singer and an actor, has confirmed his appearance in the second season of Dramaworld.
On Oct. 12, Henry’s agency Monster Entertainment said, “Henry will appear in the second season of Dramaworld. He will approach the public with his acting.”
Dramaworld, the K-drama spoof that premiered its first season in 2016, follows the adventures of Claire Duncan (Liv Hewson), an American college student and huge fan of Korean Dramas, after getting transported to her favorite show with a touch of magic.
In the second,10-episode season, Henry plays Woo Sung, the main character in a Korean drama about a vampire and a tiger. Woo Sung is a character who shows off his unfamiliar and wild charm as a tiger in love with a vampire. Henry is expected to add to the fun of the play with his solid body and unique charisma. In particular, Henry’s portrayal of “straight-forward tiger” in love raises expectations.
According to Forbes, the second season sees the return of Hewson (Bombshell, The Santa Clarita Diet), Dulake (Operation Chromite), and Chon (The Twilight Saga, Gook), along with more cameos from k-pop and k-drama stars, including Ha Ji Won, Henry Lau, Choi Siwon, and Han Ji Min.
Meanwhile, Henry has been steadily building up his acting career by working on various works, including Oh My Venus, A Dog’s Journey, and Double World.
