I-LAND’s boy group ENHYPEN recently suffered from “excessive” interest from fans even before their debut.

On the afternoon of Sept. 26 KST, ENHYPEN arrived at Gimpo Airport after finishing their schedule in Jeju Island. That day, the airport became hectic with not only reporters trying to film their arrival, but also a mob of fans.

However, some fans started to grab the members’ clothes as if they were trying to tear it apart and come even closer to “greet’ them, leading to dangerous situations where a member almost fell after being pushed around. Jake was allegedly spotted crying after he faced the chaos.

After seeing this, the hashtag “#ProtectENHYPEN” quickly emerged on Twitter, and fans asked the act’s label to step up a proper security.

Though they haven’t made their official debut yet, ENHYPEN has already amassed a huge amount of fans, garnering 716,000 Twitter followers, 586,000 Instagram followers, and 350,000 subscribers to their YouTube channel.
