Fans who couldn’t go to the concert hall gathered at the movie theaters. Break the Silence: The Movie, a movie about BTS and their world tour “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF,” topped the Korean box office on its first day of release.

According to the Korean Film Council, Break the Silence: The Movie, released on Sept. 24, attracted 21,586 moviegoers on the first day of release. The film landed at No. 1 on the box office despite the small number of screens (205 across the country), once again proving the market power of BTS.

Break the Silence: The Movie travels with BTS throughout their latest world tour, exploring each band member behind the curtain and listening to their candid stories.

Diva, starring Shin Min Ah and Lee Yoo Young, followed the chart and came in second by attracting 13,580 moviegoers.
