‘Zombie Detective’ and ‘18 Again’ Show a Soft Start

New dramas Zombie Detective and 18 Again marked their first quiet start.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of KBS’s Zombie Detective, which aired on Sept. 21, recorded 2.9% and 3.6% viewership, while the first episode of JTBC’s 18 Again, which aired the same day, garnered 1.753% viewership.

Zombie Detective drew keen attention with Choi Jin Hyuk’s first comical acting, and 18 Again drew sympathy and sorrow by realistically depicting a couple facing a difficult reality and are on the verge of divorce, sparking viewers’ desire for support.

Meanwhile, the 7th episode of SBS’s Do You Like Brahms? recorded 4.4% and 5.8% viewership, and the 5th episode of tvN’s Record of Youth showed 7.8% viewership on average. Especially in the scene where Park Bo Gum confessed to Park So Dam, the viewership soared up to 10.0%, proving its unrivaled popularity. MBC’s Lonely Enough to Love recorded 1.1% and 1.2% viewership.
