On August 24, a media outlet reported that drama Blue Sky, produced by Chorokbaem Media, has cast actor Seo Ji Hoon to play the lead role.
All the actors, including Seo Ji Hoon, who will play the seven members of BTS are all confirmed. Originally, the first shooting was planned to begin at the end of this month, but the drama postponed its schedules due to the aftermath of the re-surge of COVID-19.
Blue Sky depicts the story of BTS members from their school days until after their debut. Of course, the big frame will revolve around BTS, but the details will change, especially, the school-related stories will add more fictions. The names of the roles will also be different from the real names.
Producer Kim Hae Hong, who co-directed Blooded Palace: The War of Flowers, Your Neighbor’s Wife, Yoo Na’s Street, and My Love Eun Dong, will direct the drama, while writer Kim Soo Jin, best known for Old Miss Diary, Living Among The Rich, and Awl, will be in charge of the script.
Meanwhile, Seo Ji Hoon is currently starring in drama To All The Guys Who Loved Me.
