tvN’s new weekend drama Stranger 2 surpassed 10% viewership mark from the first episode.
On August 15, tvN aired the first episode of Stranger 2, the second season of the popular thriller drama starring Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na. According to Nielsen Korea, it recorded an average of 9.1% viewership and soared up to 10.6% viewership, drawing keen attention.
This is higher than the viewership recorded in the drama’s first season and is the second-highest viewership of any Saturday-Sunday drama in tvN history (the highest record of 8.9% is held by Mr.Sunshine).
Meanwhile, KBS’s Once Again scored 26.9% and 31.4% viewership, proving its popularity, while JTBC’s Graceful Friends garnered 4.5% viewership, seeing a slight rise from the previous episode.
