On July 4, the movie Story of You and the Rain (literal translation) finished its filming after three months of shooting.
Story of You and the Rain is a special story of different youth. It tells the story of a man and a woman who miss each other but cannot meet.
Kang Ha Neul plays Young Ho, who lived a purposeless life but changed after exchanging letters with someone accidentally. He said, “I joined this project because I thought it would be a calm and meaningful piece. I will cherish these feelings I felt while filming for a long time.”
Chun Woo Hee plays So Hee, who exchanges letters with Young Ho. She will increase the density of the work by showing emotional and delicate acting. She said, “I think the movie will show each character’s emotions clearly. It was a grateful and enjoyable time. Please look forward to it.”
Kang So Ra also joined the project by making a special appearance. She plays the role of Soo Jin, a classmate in Young Ho’s cram school. With her cheerful character, she leads Young Ho and adds unique energy to the story.
She said, “It’s a lovely and nostalgic piece. I felt like I was sharing memories from 17 years ago. Thank you for giving me such great memories.”
Story of You and the Rain will begin its post-production work and be released next year.
