The mega-hit Chinese drama A Love So Beautiful will be remade in Korea.
According to SPOTVNEWs on July 1, the Chinese drama A Love So Beautiful will be remade into Kakao M Shortform.
A Love So Beautiful is a youth romance drama that takes place as a high school girl starts her crush on a boy who has been living in the same apartment for the past 19 years. The drama was broadcast in 2017 and received explosive love in China. Later, it was introduced in Korea under the title “To Our Beautiful Days” via Netflix and gaining popularity after being nicknamed “Chinese Version Reply.”
Recently, the remake of A Love So Beautiful has been confirmed. It will be made as the original drama of Kakao M Digital and produced in a shortform for about 20 minutes. As the drama was said to have guaranteed success when it was made into a Korean remake, expectations are already snowballing.
The casting is currently under discussion.
