MONSTA X’s Jooheon appeared on May 31st episode of MBC’s King of Mask Singer where he surprised the viewers with his vocals and rap.

During the episode, Jooheon sang Brown Eyes’ “Been Already a Year” and Lee Jung’s “Look At Me” and showed off his strong vocals and the ability to switch between singing and rapping.

After his face was revealed, many were surprised to find Jooheon standing behind the mask. And Jooheon asked producer Yoon Sang who was in the guest panel, “I write a lot of songs too, so I’m a huge fan of yours. You made a lot of girl group songs and you’ve also made a lot of famous songs. Can you make one for MONSTA X?”

Before stepping down from the stage, Jooheon also added, “I want to be an all-around player. I want to be a singer who raps, sings, and produces music. My goal is to become a musician like Michael Jackson.”
