Actor Kim Min Kyo‘s dogs attacked an 80-year-old woman in her garden, and her family made their position clear.
On May 10, the daughter of the victim, who was bitten by Kim Min Kyo’s dogs, said in a phone interview with Sports Seoul, “My mother is currently receiving treatment in hospital after undergoing surgery. It took time for treatment, but Kim Min Kyo is doing his best.”
She added, “We didn’t want this to reported in the first place. If we wanted, we would not have hid our real names in the YTN report. Treatment had to come first, and we never intended to report the incident.” She also mentioned Kim Min Kyo, saying, “Kim Min Kyo is current;y under many misunderstandings, which make me very uncomfortable. He is doing his best, taking care of my mother.”
Also, she mentioned how her mother and Kim Min Kyo’s family are still staying close and said that the fact that the dogs were not wearing leashes and muzzles are natural since the dongs lived out in the garden in the first place. She also stressed, and said, “Kim Min Kyo is not sitting by and just watching the situation. I hope all facts come straight, and he continues his works without any problems.”
Earlier, Kim Min Kyo also wrote a letter of apology on his Instagram and explained that his dogs jumped the fence after seeing an elk. He also stressed that he would take any means necessary, including training, to stop the recurrence.
