Actor Choi Woo Shik will attend the 92nd Academy Awards after successfully adjusting his schedule.
According to the movie industry, Choi will depart from Korea on the 9th and attend the Academy Award on the 10th (Korean time). The life long wish of Choi, who confessed that he had already prepared a tuxedo for the ceremony, has come true.
Choi Woo Shik is currently filming the movie, The Policeman’s Lineage, but with the consideration of the production team, he gets to attend the ceremony. Choi also attended the Toronto International Film Festival and the US Actor’s Guild Awards and shared his joy with director Bong Joon Ho.
Parasite �is nominated in six categories, including the Best Picture and Best Director awards. Director Bong Joon-Ho, Kwak Shin-Ae, head of Barunson E&A, and Song Kang-Ho will all attend.
