Disney Plus has released new stills of Wi Ha Jun in The Worst of Evil.
The Worst of Evil is a crime action drama that revolves around police officer Joon Mo. The narrative follows his undercover operation to dismantle a major drug ring operating in Gangnam, a hub for drug trade between Korea, China, and Japan during the 1990s.
Wi Ha Jun plays Jung Gi Chul, a guy who’s been through the wringer but won’t let go of his dream to rise to the top. He has taken on major drug cartels in China, Japan, and the one right in Gangnam. But things get complicated when he crosses paths with Detective Park Joon Mo (played by Ji Chang Wook), who’s infiltrating the Gangnam drug ring, and his first love Yoo Eui Jeong (Lim Se Mi).
Director Han Dong Wook praised Wi Ha Jun’s acting, saying, “Wi Ha Jun is an incredibly passionate actor. He consistently met our needs and paid great attention to even the smallest details.” Martial arts director Kwon Ji Hoon also chimed in, “I’m telling you, he’s definitely one of the best actors when it comes to action scenes.”
The Worst of Evil will premiere on September 27th.
