All eyes are on whether Choi Chi Yeol (played by Jung Kyung Ho) and Nam Haeng Sun (Jeon Do Yeon) will fall in love with each other in tvN’s Crash Course in Romance.
Episode 8 shows Choi Chi Yeol realizing that it was Haeng Sun’s mom Jang Soon Yi (Kim Mi Kyung) who served him a warm meal while he was going through a rough patch and him making up his mind to repay her for her generosity.
He becomes Haeng Sun’s landlord to receives only half the monthly rent from her and takes her family to nice hotel restaurants for dinner.
When Haeng Sun becomes suspicious of Chi Yeol being too nice to her, Kim Young Joo (Lee Bong Ryun) secretly tells her that he might have a crush on him and that she should let him know that she’s not married.
Later in the episode, Haeng Sun spills hot food while eavesdropping on Hae Yi (Roh Yoon Seo) talking to Chi Yeol over the phone. Hearing she got injured, Chi Yeol rushes over to her to see if she is alright.
As he leaves her home after spending some quality time with her family, she follows him and asks, “There is something I want to ask you.”
Spontaneously, Cho Soo Hee (Kim Sun Young) obtains a picture of Chi Yeol going in and out of Haeng Sun’s house.
In the preview video after the episode, Chi Yeol reveals that he is privately tutoring Haeng Sun’s daughter Nam Hae Yi and her cooking store soon becomes empty. Expectations are growing as the latest episode ended with him saying, “I like this woman,” to himself.
