Gain is officially stepping back into the spotlight.

On May 3rd, Gain shared a series of photos on her social media, writing, “Fans asked for these, so I’m finally posting them. See you on Bubble soon,” hinting at a more active return.

In the photos, Gain sports a voluminous short bob paired with a pink knit cardigan, denim jeans, and cowboy-style boots. Her relaxed, slightly dazed gaze into the camera adds to the dreamy vibe.

Among the comments, Jo Kwon—her former on-screen partner from We Got Married—left a simple but supportive message: “GO BABY,” drawing attention from fans.

Online reactions quickly followed, with many expressing excitement over her return. Comments ranged from nostalgic praise—“That signature half-lidded gaze is so Gain”—to throwbacks like “If you didn’t know ‘Abracadabra’ back then, you aren’t Korean.” Others added, “So good to see her again,” and “Adam Couple really is forever—it’s nice to see them still supporting each other.”

Gain debuted in 2006 with Brown Eyed Girls and became known for hits like “L.O.V.E,” “Abracadabra,” and “Sixth Sense.” She stepped back from activities in 2021 following a propofol-related controversy, which resulted in a fine of 1 million won (about 680 USD).

She began signaling her return late last year, reuniting with Jo Kwon for the OST track “I Happen to Love You” for the film Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight.
