Kim Woo Seok, a singer and actor born in 1996, has officially returned to his fans after completing his mandatory military service.
He announced his discharge from active duty on May 3rd, marking the end of his time in the military band. He shared a brief message on social media stating “Discharged” to celebrate the conclusion of his service.

Kim Woo Seok originally enlisted on November 4th, 2024, and he notably went public with his relationship with actress Kang Na Eon just ten days before his departure. The couple reportedly began dating after starring as love interests in the web drama “Class Zero is Inssa Time,” which premiered in October 2024.
Kim Woo Seok first entered the spotlight in 2015 as a member of the group UP10TION before rising to further fame on Mnet’s “Produce X 101.” He secured second place on the show and re-debuted with the group X1, though the group eventually disbanded due to voting manipulation controversies. He later signed an exclusive contract with the acting agency BLITZWAY Korea in March 2024 to focus on his career as an actor.
NCT member Jaehyun also completed his service as a military band member on the same day. He enlisted alongside Kim Woo Seok on November 4th, 2024, and served for 18 months before his final discharge. Jaehyun is the second member of NCT to fulfill his duties, following Taeyong’s discharge in December of last year.

Doyoung, who served in the same unit, was present to congratulate Jaehyun on his return. Other NCT members, including Doyoung and Jungwoo, are currently serving and are scheduled to be discharged next year.
