The mother of late actor Lee Ji Han uploaded a letter to her son through his Instagram account on October 11th.
“My heart is still pounding because I’m scared of the sun rising as I put your picture by my head and hug your cell phone when I fall asleep. You asked me did I know how much you love me, and now, whenever I go into your bedroom, I always think about how I can ever let you go, my number one treasure who left before I did,” she wrote. “When I saw hundreds of people and friends who loved you at the funeral, I thought, ‘My Ji Han had a wonderful life,’ and I felt even more devastated and couldn’t find the meaning of life anymore.”
“I’m enraged and bitter. I love you, my son. I respect you, son. I miss you, son. I’m proud of you, son. Can’t we ever see each other again? Please, God, take me instead of Ji Han. I beg you.” She concluded her letter by saying, “Son, I hope you are happy and at peace where there is no pain. Mom will follow you.”
