Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk capped off episode 12 of tvN’s Twenty-five Twenty-One with a kiss, heralding a sweet romance to come.

Baek Yi Jin, who came to cover the national competition, asked Na Hee Do, who can’t play due to the suspension, if she feels rather comforting for not feeling pressured. To that Na answers, “Feeling pressure is also an experience. An athlete has to compete. What’s the point of being an athlete when you can’t compete?” surprising Baek with her mature words.

After Baek drops her off at her home, Na’s ex-boyfriend Jung Ho Jin (Choi Tae Joon) shows up. When he’s accused of toying with Na, Baek flares up and says, “I feel her time is more precious than mine. She deserved to have only the greatest experiences. And that’s something I can do for her.” Listening to his sincere words, Na finds her heart fluttering for the man.

Meanwhile, except for Go Yoo Rim (Bona), who decided to join the works team, Ji Seung Wan (Lee Joo Myung), who dropped out of the school, Na Hee Do and Moon Ji Woong (Choi Hyun Wook) took the college entrance exam. While the panic swept up the globe ahead of the new millennium, the quintet gathered at Baek’s place. But soon, they left for their houses to be with their family, worrying that the earth might get destroyed.

Left alone, Baek and Na sat next to each other to watch the Bosingak bell ringing on TV swept up in an awkward atmosphere. When the countdown started, Na leaned over to kiss Baek on the lips, and the episode ended as they looked into each others’ eyes.
