Jung Woo and Oh Yeon Seo have confirmed their appearances in the KakaoTV original drama Crazy Person in the Area (literal title).
On November 11, KakaoM confirmed the cast of Jung Woo and Oh Yeon Seo and announced the start of production.
Crazy Person in the Area is a “crazy” romance drama about a man with anger issues and a woman who excels in provoking him. Age of Youth series director Lee Tae Gon will be directing the drama.
Jung Woo will play detective Noh Hwi Oh. He used to live a pretty good life until one day, his life hits a new turn, and he becomes a person who is filled with rage. Since then, Noh Hwi Oh has become one crazy person with zero anger management.
Oh Yeon Seo plays Lee Min Kyung, who suffers from self-made delusions and obsessions. When her perfect life of boasting sophisticated appearance and decent job, collapsed in a flash, she suddenly became an anger-inducing person who could not trust anyone and imprisoned herself in the prison she created. Her “delusions” will push everyone’s buttons.
Meanwhile, Crazy Person in the Area will be produced in 12 episodes, each about 25 minutes long. The filming will begin in earnest by the end of this year and released in the first half of 2021.
