TWICE member Tzuyu has recently faced online rumors about her relationship with a male friend. Her mother has now spoken out to clear things up.
On October 27th, Tzuyu’s mother, Huang Yen Ling, posted a statement on social media. She said she had known the man for a long time and wanted to address the rumors.
Huang explained that he is a longtime friend who has always been kind to Tzuyu and supported her over the years.
She also said that having meals together, going out and talking are normal things friends do. She asked people not to assume there is something more between them based on these activities.
Huang urged people not to criticize or attack Tzuyu or the man because of unconfirmed rumors. She also reminded everyone that such speculation could hurt innocent people.
She asked the public to focus on Tzuyu’s music and career instead of her private life. She also hoped people would respect Tzuyu and those around her.
Huang ended her statement by asking people to stop spreading rumors and making assumptions about their relationship.
