BLACKPINK star Jennie is proving her solo business venture is paying off in a big way.

According to audit reports released through Financial Supervisory Service on May 9th, Jennie received approximately 23.8 billion won (about 16 million USD) in payments over the past two years through her self-founded agency OA.

The reports show that OA paid Jennie around 9.48 billion KRW ($6.4 million)last year alone. Combined with roughly 14.3 billion won ($9.7 million) paid in 2024, the total comes to nearly 23.8 billion won ($16.1 million).

The payments were listed under “cost of sales,” meaning the exact breakdown — including appearance fees, endorsement deals, music revenue or concert profits — was not disclosed.

Jennie launched OA after ending her individual exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in 2023. While BLACKPINK’s group activities remain under YG, Jennie now independently manages her solo music, endorsements and individual promotions through her own company.

The agency’s full name, ODD ATELIER, reflects the idea of a “creative and unique workspace.” Jennie reportedly owns 100% of the company, while her mother serves as CEO.

OA has continued showing steady growth since its launch. In its first year, the company recorded 18.9 billion won ($12.8 million) in revenue and 580 million won ($393,000) in operating profit. Last year, revenue rose 26% year-over-year to 23.8 billion won ($16.1 million), though operating profit slightly dipped to 390 million won ($264,000) due to increased administrative and staffing costs.

The audit report also revealed that Jennie personally provided financial support to the company through shareholder loans. As of the end of last year, the balance reportedly stood at approximately 2.86 billion KRW, more than eight times higher than the previous year.

Jennie is part of a growing trend in the K-pop industry of top artists launching independent labels or one-person agencies. Other examples include Psy’s P Nation and Kim Jae Joong’s iNKODE.

The singer released her first full-length solo album Ruby last year and was recently named to TIME’s list of the “100 Most Influential People.” She also drew attention after attending the 2026 Met Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
