Bad news for fans of No Tail to Tell: the drama is taking a short break.
SBS announced that the show will be preempted on February 13th and 14th due to the Lunar New Year holiday special programming. Episode 9 is now scheduled to air next week on Friday, February 20 at 9:50 PM KST.
To make up for the hiatus, the production team has released a set of unreleased pictures featuring leads Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon, showcasing their undeniable chemistry both on and off-camera.
The new photos come on the heels of a major turning point in the drama. In the previous episode, Eun Ho confessed her feelings to Si Yeol, leading to an “unexpected” first date. When Si Yeol candidly admitted that holding hands didn’t make his heart flutter, Eun Ho took matters into her own hands. “Then I can do as I please, right?” she asked, before pulling him in for a bold kiss.
The released stills capture the mystical tension between the two as Eun Ho gradually loses her Gumiho abilities, and Si Yeol discovers her true identity. Viewers are eager to see how Eun Ho will fight her “cursed” fate and how her relationship with Si Yeol will evolve from animosity to salvation.
Behind-the-scenes photos reveal a much lighter atmosphere. Despite filming intense scenes, the two stars were spotted beaming with bright smiles, even with soot-covered faces. Whether striking playful peace signs or bursting into laughter, their off-screen rapport is clearly fueling their on-screen romance.
Kim Hye Yoon continues to draw praise for her nuanced portrayal of Eun Ho’s complex emotions, while Lomon has solidified his status as a new “rom-com king,” effortlessly switching between seriousness and playful charm.
No Tail to Tell returns with Episode 9 on February 20th.
