BTS’ V has once again cemented his place at the center of global pop culture, ranking among the most searched people in the world on Google.
According to msn report, V placed No. 4 on the list of The 100 Most Searched People on Google in 2025, as released by education and data platform Jagran Josh. He ranked just behind Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Taylor Swift, standing out as the only K-pop artist to break into the top tier of a list dominated by figures from politics, business, sports, and Western pop music.
The rankings also included global icons such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. Notably, Taylor Swift topped the list among female pop stars, while V recorded the highest search volume among male pop artists.
Josh attributed V’s massive search traffic to his solo music releases, strong social media presence, and widely discussed fashion sense, noting that “he trends across more than 70 countries.”

V also ranked No. 6 on the list of the Most Googled Male Artists Born After 1990, making him the only K-pop artist to appear in that category. The data spans from 2004 to the present, marking the period when Google search data became a reliable indicator of global trends.
That list was led by Justin Bieber, followed by Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Zayn Malik, V, and Travis Scott.
Since BTS debuted on June 13th, 2013, V has consistently remained among the most searched names worldwide. As of January 30th, 2026, he continues to rank at the top of Google search trends, having been named the most searched star across Asia in 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025.
His global influence extends beyond Google. On Wikipedia, V remains the most viewed K-pop artist, and in 2024, he ranked No. 7 among the world’s most searched male pop stars overall, placing alongside legends such as Michael Jackson, Eminem, Kanye West, Drake, Justin Bieber, and Kendrick Lamar.
The numbers make one thing clear: V’s impact reaches far beyond K-pop, firmly positioning him among the world’s most recognizable cultural figures.
