A source close to the couple told OSEN, “IU and Lee Jong Suk are still happily together,” dismissing the recurring breakup rumors that have surfaced over time.
The couple first confirmed their relationship in December 2022 and have since continued their romance publicly. They’ve occasionally mentioned each other indirectly at public events, and sightings of Lee Jong Suk attending IU’s concerts have sparked buzz among fans..
Breakup rumors recently surfaced following IU’s birthday on May 16th. She was seen dining at a restaurant with BTS member V, which led to speculation about her relationship with Lee Jong Suk.
However, it was later clarified that IU, V, and several acquaintances were simply sharing a meal at Chef Ahn Sung Jae’s restaurant. The gathering was described as a casual get-together among close friends who worked together on her music video.
