As international reaction to Kim Soo Hyun reaches an all-time low, global viewers are visiting the Instagram accounts of MBC variety show Good Day cast members, demanding they cut ties with the actor.

As of March 18th, the Good Day poster that G-Dragon pinned on his account has attracted around 13,000 comments—many calling for Kim Soo Hyun’s removal from the show. “You should never associate with Kim Soo Hyun,” one comment reads, while another pleads, “Please remove Kim Soo Hyun from the show.”

Previously, on Monday, the Good Day production team issued a statement, announcing their decision “to edit out Kim Soo Hyun’s scenes as much as possible.”

With the show distancing itself from the actor, attention has now turned to his castmates who still follow him on social media. Good Day is a music project led by G-Dragon, featuring Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Hae In, Lee Soo Hyuk, Yim Si Wan, and Kwanghee, who came together as the “88z.”

Among the cast, only Jung Hae In and Yim Si Wan still follow Kim Soo Hyun, while G-Dragon, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Kwanghee have either set their following lists to zero or one. International fans are flooding Jung Hae In and Yim Si Wan’s social media with comments like: “Can’t you just unfollow him?” “It’s time to unfollow Kim Soo Hyun,” and “I’m disappointed that you’re still following Kim Soo Hyun.”

The backlash follows allegations made by the family of the late Kim Sae Ron, who claimed that she dated Kim Soo Hyun for six years, from when she was a minor at 15 until she turned 21. Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, which initially strongly denied the claims as “false information,” changed their position on the 14th, stating, “Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron dated from summer 2019, only after Kim Sae Ron became an adult, until fall 2020.”

Meanwhile, Lee El made a cryptic post on the 17th, writing, “A 9-year-old is a child who knows nothing and is pushed by parents’ pressure, but is a 15-year-old treated as a gold digger because they know everything about the world?” Although she didn’t specify whom the post was directed at, some netizens suggested it was written with the late actress Kim Sae Ron in mind. Kim Sae Ron debuted in the entertainment industry at age 9 in the 2009 filmA Brand New Life.
