Hyun Bin appears to be making good on his promise to carve out more time for his family.
The actor and his wife, Son Ye Jin, were recently spotted enjoying a family trip in Tokyo with their son, with photos and eyewitness accounts from the outing spreading across social media on September 1st.
In the photos, Son was seen ordering food at a restaurant while Hyun Bin stood nearby with their son’s stroller. Their son stayed close to his mother, slipping his hand inside the sleeve of her top as he stood beside her.
The couple also kept things casual for the family outing, with Son dressed in a relaxed top and balloon pants while Hyun Bin wore a T-shirt and shorts.
The sighting drew particular attention because it came shortly after Hyun Bin spoke about making an effort to create experiences with his son.
During the September 1st episode of Whenever Possible, Yoo Yeon Seok asked the actor whether he had taken a summer vacation.
“Now that I have a child, I try to make an effort to go somewhere and do something,” Hyun Bin said.
The family has also previously been spotted spending time together during trips to Japan and the U.S., as Hyun Bin and Son continue balancing their acting careers with family life.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin first worked together on the film The Negotiation before reuniting in tvN hit Crash Landing on You. The two later began dating, married in March 2022 and welcomed their son that November.
Hyun Bin will next appear in Disney Plus original series Made in Korea Season 2, which premieres September 9th, while Son will return to historical drama with Netflix series The Scandal, set for release September 18th.
