Kang Dong Won, Um Tae Goo and Park Ji Hyun are stepping into the spotlight as a co-ed group—at least on screen.

The trio will debut as “Triangle,” a fictional dance group from the upcoming film Wild Sing. Today, a teaser for their pre-release track “Love Is” dropped on social media, showing the three dancing to an old-school hip-hop beat. The song is set to be released on April 21st.

In the film, Kang Dong Won plays Hwang Hyun Woo, the group’s dance ace known for his b-boying skills and signature head spins, complete with 1990s-inspired styling like hair streaks and bandanas.

Um Tae Goo takes on the role of Goo Sang Gu, a high-energy rapper and the group’s youngest member, while Park Ji Hyun plays Byun Do Mi, the team’s main vocalist and center, bringing a bright, lively presence as the only female member.

A representative for Wild Sing said the actors have been putting in serious work preparing for the dance track, adding that audiences can look forward to their comedic chemistry when the film hits theaters.

Wild Sing follows a once-popular co-ed dance group that disbanded after an unexpected incident, only to reunite more than 20 years later for a comeback.

The film is produced by the team behind Extreme Job and directed by Son Jae Gon (My Scary Girl, Secret Zoo). It is set to premiere on June 3rd.
