Junho has been confirmed to star in the new series Buy King, according to an exclusive report by OSEN on March 23rd.
The actor recently received the script for Buy King and has decided to take on the role.
Buy King is a drama that revolves around a hidden succession war within a Korean chaebol family, focusing on their struggles to take control of a business empire worth billions. The series is highly anticipated for its intense portrayal of the desires and shifting alliances within the chaebol family.
Buy King gained attention for casting Ju Ji Hoon as one of the main leads. Junho has been offered the role of Han Ji-yeol, a third-generation chaebol heir who will compete against his uncle, Han Tae Jun. Their intense rivalry is expected to be a major highlight of the series.
O3 Collective officially confirmed, “Junho has been offered a role in Buy King and is positively reviewing it.”
Junho had originally planned to prioritize filming for the third installment of Veteran, which was set to begin in the first half of this year. However, filming was delayed due to director Ryoo Seung-wan’s health issues, so Buy King will start filming first.
Additionally, Junho will appear in season 2 of the Netflix reality show Kian’s Bizarre B&B.
Once the main casting is complete, production plans to begin filming in April and release the series on a global streaming platform.
