Ji Chang Wook is going viral again after another accidental “notebook theft” involving a fan.
A video titled “Ji Chang Wook steals another notebook” recently spread across online communities and social media. The clip shows the actor greeting fans while attending the Tom Ford show during the 2026 Fall/Winter Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France.
In the video, Ji Chang Wook warmly greets fans who had gathered outside the venue and kindly signs autographs with a bright smile. But after finishing one autograph, he returns only the pen to the fan—and walks away while still holding the notebook.
The moment quickly caught fans’ attention because a similar incident happened before.
Back in 2024, Ji Chang Wook had a nearly identical moment during a stage greeting for the film Revolver. At the time, he signed a fan’s notebook but left with it after handing back only the pen, creating a humorous moment that quickly circulated online.

The clip spread rapidly on social media and even sparked lighthearted headlines about the actor’s “notebook incident.” His agency later responded playfully by posting a notice asking fans to help locate the notebook’s owner.
Now, nearly two years later, another video showing Ji Chang Wook walking away with a fan’s autograph notebook has fans joking about the actor’s repeat offense.
Comments included “He’s a repeat offender,” “How is he going to return it this time when it happened overseas?” “A new type of notebook theft” and “This is honestly so cute.”
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook is set to star in the upcoming JTBC drama Human X Gumiho (working title). The fantasy romantic comedy follows the mysterious encounter between a seductive gumiho named Gu Ja Hong (Jun Ji Hyun) and Choi Seok (Ji Chang Wook), a man who attracts supernatural beings. The drama is scheduled to begin filming in mid-March.
