Netflix has officially confirmed that Agents of Mystery will return with its highly anticipated second season on February 27th, unveiling a new teaser that hints at even bigger, stranger cases ahead.
The mystery-adventure show follows a team tasked with investigating bizarre, scientifically unexplainable incidents. Created by producer Jeong Jong Yeon, the mind behind Netflix’s The Devil’s Plan as well as fan-favorite Korean shows The Great Escape and High School Mystery Club, the series first debuted in 2024 and quickly earned praise for its immersive world-building, elaborate sets, and missions that blur the line between reality and fiction.
Season 2 promises to go even further. The show expands its mystery-driven universe, scales up its storytelling, and introduces larger, more ambitious outdoor missions designed to fully unleash viewers’ inner detective. The agents’ role within the secret organization XIN also deepens, as they confront increasingly supernatural and unexplained phenomena.
Returning cast members Lee Yong Jin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do Hoon and Karina are back in action, while newcomer Gabee joins the team, bringing fresh energy and new dynamics to the group.
The newly released teaser sets an ominous tone. A voice greets the team with the words, “Hello agents. Welcome back to duty at XIN,” immediately raising anticipation for the next mission. Shots of the team moving through darkness toward an eerie lakeside hint at the unsettling cases that await them.
Producer Jeong Jong Yeon shared, “We introduced a more disruptive storyline from the very beginning,” adding, “With the ability to move freely across locations, the agents’ investigations become far more dynamic and exciting.”
He added, “When I asked myself why we needed season two of ‘Agents of Mystery,’ the answer was simple. There were still stories left to tell.” Encouraging viewers to tune in, he said, “If you want the thrill and spectacle of a drama or film combined with the raw realism of unscripted storytelling, ‘Agents of Mystery’ is the show to watch.”
Agents of Mystery Season 2 premieres February 27th, exclusively on Netflix.
