Ji Chang Wook is set to make a splash with a special appearance in one of the year’s most anticipated fantasy dramas.
Sports Kyunghyang reported on January 15th that the actor will make a cameo in upcoming series Men of the Harem. Although it is a brief appearance, insiders suggest his character will have a significant impact and a strong presence in the storyline.
About ‘Men of the Harem’
Based on the hit web novel of the same name, Men of the Harem is a court romance fantasy about Empress Latil of the Empire Tarium, who recruits male consorts to protect her throne and kingdom.
The production is directed by Lee Eung Bok of Descendants of the Sun, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Mr. Sunshine, and Sweet Home; and written by Hwang Jin Young of My Dearest.
Excitement is already high with reports that Suzy is in talks for the lead role of Empress Latil. The potential male lineup promises a “visual feast,” with actors like Lee Soo Hyuk, Shin Seung Ho, Kim Dan and Yoo Jeong Hoo reportedly being considered.
Ji Chang Wook’s Next Projects
Ji Chang Wook is coming off a massive year, having earned international acclaim for his performance in the Disney Plus series The Manipulated. His 2026 schedule is already packed, with upcoming roles in the movie Colony, the Netflix series Scandal, and another Disney Plus original, Merry Berry Love.
