The on-screen chemistry between Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Joo Been is already turning heads—and now even their friends are getting involved.
The two stars appeared together on the YouTube talk show “Salon Drip” (Episode 121), where they shared lighthearted stories about their new tvN drama Spring Fever.
Lee Joo Been joked that as more of her friends settle down and have kids, their conversations have shifted. “They keep asking me if I have any fun stories,” she said, laughing. “They even ask whether my former co-star Lee Dong Wook was really handsome in person, or if there was actually anything going on between us. There wasn’t—but I feel like I need to give them something.”
She added that even innocent compliments spark speculation. “If I say someone’s thoughtful or nice, my friends immediately go, ‘So… you like him?’”
Ahn Bo Hyun chimed in with a story of his own. “My friends ask what Lee Joo Been is like in real life,” he said. “I see her every day, so I don’t say much—but they tell me, ‘She’d be the perfect sister-in-law.’ I just stay quiet.” The comment sent the studio into laughter.
The pair currently star in tvN’s Monday–Tuesday romance Spring Fever, which follows cool-headed teacher Yoon Bom (Lee Joo Been) and warm-hearted local man Sun Jae Gyu (Ahn Bo Hyun) as they slowly thaw each other’s guarded hearts. The drama airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:50 PM KST.
