BLACKPINK’s Jennie and TV personality DEX are teaming up again for a new variety show.
According to a MyDaily report on December 12, the duo has been confirmed for the upcoming show Manitto Club (literal title), produced by hitmaker PD Kim Tae Ho’s company.
The show centers on the “Manitto” concept, similar to Secret Santa, where participants secretly exchange special gifts without revealing their identities. Filming reportedly began on December 11th, with both Jennie and DEX participating. The cast also includes entertainers Noh Hong Chul and Choo Sung Hoon.
This marks a reunion for Jennie, DEX and PD Kim Tae Ho’s team. Last year, both stars appeared in the TEO-produced reality show My Name Is Gabriel, where they lived as strangers in foreign countries for 72 hours, Jennie as “Maria” in Italy and DEX as “Lati” in Georgia. Fans are eager to see their chemistry in this new format.
Despite her busy schedule with BLACKPINK’s “Deadline” world tour, Jennie is making the most of her December break by appearing on several variety programs, including EXchange 4 and now Manitto Club. DEX is currently starring in the tvN show I AM BOXER.
Manitto Club is scheduled to air next year.
