Dynamite Kiss delivered another spark-filled episode as Jang Ki Yong swooped in to save Ahn Eun Jin.

The latest episode aired on the 20th with Gong Ji Hyuk (Jang Ki Yong) hilariously misreading Go Da Rim (Ahn Eun Jin) as a married mom, only to end up rescuing her at a crucial moment. Nielsen Korea reported that Episode 4 hit 6.5% in the Seoul area and 6.3% nationwide, with peaks at 7.8%, marking another series high and ranking No.1 among all weekday miniseries.

Early in the episode, Ji Hyuk dumped an all-night team report into a pool, forcing Da Rim—who can’t swim—to jump in after it. When she struggled, he dove in, leading to a close, heart-racing moment. Despite keeping a cold exterior, he later held her hand while helping her flee loan sharks, setting off romantic tension—until her “fake husband,” Kim Sun Woo, crashed the mood.

They met again at a hospital, where Ji Hyuk finally understood why Da Rim clings to her job. “I’ll forget everything, so don’t bring it up,” he said, reluctantly accepting her back on the team. Though relieved, Da Rim couldn’t shake a strange pang of disappointment over his vow to forget their kiss.

But later at a live-commerce event, the pair shared yet another accidental kiss. When a senior manager scolded Da Rim, he stepped in: “She’s my team member. If anyone scolds her, it’ll be me.”

That night, Da Rim was kidnapped by loan sharks demanding repayment for her missing sister. Bound and threatened, she was cornered—until Ji Hyuk burst in like a superhero, flashing a black card: “I’ll pay. How much? Do you take cards?”

Dynamite Kiss airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9 PM KST on SBS.
