Lee Kwang Soo opened up about his eight-year relationship with Lee Sun Bin and directly addressed recent marriage rumors.
On the November 7th episode of SBS’s variety show My Grumpy Secretary, Lee Kwang Soo joined host Lee Seo Jin, who greeted him by saying, “I saw your girlfriend at the salon the other day.” With the openly dating couple now together for nearly a decade, their relationship quickly became the topic of conversation.
Lee Kwang Soo smiled and said, “It’s already been eight or nine years. We’re still doing well,” showing his steady affection.
Lee Seo Jin then teased him, saying, “After two years, couples either get married or break up,” to which his co-host Kim Kwang Gyu added jokingly, “Seo Jin can’t even make it past one year.” Laughing, Lee Seo Jin replied, “I’ve made it past a year before—but if you hit two, you should just get married.”
He then turned to Lee Kwang Soo again and pressed, “You’ve been together for ages. You two getting married or breaking up?” Flustered, Lee Kwang Soo drew a firm line: “Why do you keep asking that? We’re not breaking up.”
Lee Seo Jin laughed and said, “Do whatever you want—if you break up, you can just meet someone new,” while Kim Kwang Gyu teased, “He broke up with everyone,” sending the set into laughter. Seo Jin coolly wrapped up with, “That’s why I’m single,” showing off his trademark deadpan humor.
Earlier this year, Lee Sun Bin appeared on SBS’s My Little Old Boy, where she said the secret to their long relationship is that “our personalities and sense of humor just click. We’re both jokesters, so there’s always something to laugh about.”
Now in their eighth year together, fans continue to cheer for the couple, leaving comments like “They’re the definition of real love,” “Hope we hear wedding news soon,” and “They deserve their happily ever after.”’
