Hyeri couldn’t hold back tears at her younger sister’s wedding over the weekend.
The singer-turned-actress attended the ceremony of her sister Lee Hye Rim, who tied the knot with her boyfriend in Seoul after a decade-long relationship.
Photos shared by attendees showed Hyeri embracing her sister tightly, wiping away tears, and pressing a wet tissue to her face—visibly moved by the emotional moment. Known for calling her sister “my closest person and best friend,” Hyeri’s deep affection was on full display throughout the event.
Lee Hye Rim has long drawn attention through appearances on YouTube and social media, where she currently boasts around 110,000 followers, establishing herself as a rising lifestyle influencer.
Hyeri previously confessed during a variety appearance last year, “I don’t think I’ve ever fought with my sister. I tear up just thinking about her.” As the younger sibling became the first to marry, the actress reportedly shed plenty of tears but wholeheartedly cheered on her sister’s new beginning.
Meanwhile, Hyeri is ramping up her on-screen return with multiple projects. She’ll star as struggling reporter Joo I Jae in ENA’s upcoming drama Dream to You (literal title) next year, and reunite with audiences through Netflix’s Agents of Mystery Season 2.
