A surprise stage by BTS members Jimin, V and Jin has become a hot topic online—though not for the reasons fans expected.
On October 31st and November 1st, Jin wrapped up his “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE” with two finale shows at Incheon Munhak Stadium. The concerts marked the end of his ten-city tour that began in Goyang in June and spanned Japan, the U.S., and Europe. “I wanted to prepare this encore show with the spirit of a finale,” Jin told fans. “Let’s cross the finish line together in Incheon.”
The event featured guest appearances from BTS members—J-Hope and Jungkook joined on the first night, while V appeared on the second. However, it was the joint performance of BTS’s 2017 hit “Spring Day” by Jimin, V, and Jin that sparked widespread debate online.

Clips from the concert circulated across social media and fan forums, where viewers pointed out shaky vocals, missed notes, and forgotten lyrics. Jimin was seen hesitating to sing parts of the song, while both Jin and V reportedly struggled to stay in tune. At one point, V appeared to rely on a teleprompter to recall the lyrics.
Reactions were sharply divided, with many netizens expressing disappointment over the trio’s live performance. Some called it “painful to watch,” while others defended the singers, saying fatigue or lack of rehearsal could have contributed.

The concert itself was framed as an extension of Jin’s personal project “Run Seokjin.” During the finale, a screen teased the next chapter with the message, “DECEMBER COMING SOON.”
