
Jang Na Ra and Jung Hae In, along with singer Taeyeon, have been formally recognized by the Financial Services Commission of Korea for their philanthropic efforts and contributions to promoting a culture of giving.
On October 28th, the commission held the 10th “Finance Day” Commemorative Ceremony, presenting a total of 192 commendations to individuals and organizations that contributed to the advancement of Korea’s financial sector. Established as an official national day, Finance Day aims to increase public awareness of finance and celebrate those working in the industry.
Jang Na Ra received the Presidential Commendation for donating over 20 billion KRW (approx. 14 million USD) throughout her career and actively volunteering to support underprivileged children in local communities.
Jung Hae In was awarded the Prime Minister’s Commendation for his continued charitable activities, including supporting children awaiting adoption, and leading the Happiness Sharing Volunteer Group.
Taeyeon, leader of Girls’ Generation, also received the Prime Minister’s Commendation for her efforts to support young women from vulnerable backgrounds, protect abandoned animals, and serve as a positive role model by practicing sound and socially responsible financial management.
