Tao, a former member of EXO, and former SM Entertainment trainee Xu Yiyang have officially tied the knot.
The couple held their wedding ceremony on October 16th in Sanya, Hainan Province, under the romantic theme “Star of the Sea.” The event was an intimate affair attended by close family members and friends, though fans were able to watch select moments through a live broadcast that streamed parts of the ceremony.
While it’s well known that Tao was part of EXO, Xu Yiyang also trained under SM Entertainment and was a member of the pre-debut project SM Rookies. Among her fellow rookies was aespa’s Ningning, who has since debuted with the hit girl group. The two remained close even after Yiyang left the company—and that bond seems to have endured nearly a decade later.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Ningning at the wedding, appearing in guest-shot videos and photos, with her name visibly listed on one of the reception tables where she was seated alongside Yiyang.
Tao and Xu Yiyang’s wedding had been months in the making. Their marriage was first announced in August, with Tao revealing that the couple had been preparing for the ceremony for more than six months. The pair had already registered their marriage last year, officially becoming husband and wife after years of speculation.
Both are now under L.TAO Entertainment (Long Tao Entertainment), the agency founded by Tao himself. In addition to his entertainment career, Tao has also launched the feminine-care brand Domyway, expanding into business ventures.
