Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Do Hoon were recently swept up in dating rumors after photos of them traveling abroad together surfaced online. However, representatives for both stars were quick to dismiss the speculation, stating that it was simply a group trip with the cast and crew of their latest project.
The rumors began on September 20th, when a user on an online forum posted photos of Kim Do Hoon at an airport with a woman. The user wrote, “I saw Kim Do Hoon on a flight to Nha Trang, Vietnam.”
Fans quickly began to speculate that the woman in the photos was Kim Yoo Jung, noting that her outfit closely resembled one Kim Yoo Jung had worn in a social media post back in June. The theory gained more traction when fans noticed that both actors had separately posted photos to their Instagram accounts from what appeared to be the same vacation spot, fueling suspicions that they were on a private couple’s trip.
In response, both actors’ agencies immediately denied the rumors. Awesome ENT, representing Kim Yoo Jung, and Peak J Entertainment, Kim Do Hoon’s agency, released a joint statement to clear the air. “The director, cast and crew all went on a group trip together after Dear X‘s filming concluded,” the agencies explained, adding firmly, “The dating rumors are not true.”
Kim Yoo Jung and Kim Do Hoon recently worked together on the upcoming TVING original series, Dear X, which is slated for release in November. The drama tells the story of a woman who uses a fake persona to escape a dark past and climb to the top of the social ladder, and the men who were cruelly cast aside on her way up.
