Ji Chang Wook, Seolhyun and Na In Woo have denied reports that they are moving to Galaxy Corporation, the agency currently home to G-Dragon and Song Kang Ho.
On August 21st, Korean media reported that Galaxy Corporation had held meetings with several high-profile actors including Kim Nam Gil, Ji Chang Wook, Seolhyun, and Na In Woo regarding exclusive contracts, with claims that some were ready to make the switch.
However, Ji Chang Wook’s agency Spring Company quickly shut down the speculation, telling OSEN, “The reports of a move to Galaxy Corporation are not true.” Similarly, a representative from IEUM# firmly denied the rumors regarding Seolhyun, stating, “It is absolutely groundless.” Na In Woo’s side echoed the same stance, saying, “It’s not true. We have nothing further to add.”
Founded in August 2019, Galaxy Corporation has expanded from IP development and licensing into content production, management, and commerce. In 2023, the company signed an exclusive contract with Big Bang’s G-Dragon and announced plans to establish an “AI Entertainment Tech Research Center” with KAIST, integrating AI and the metaverse into entertainment. Most recently, the agency signed veteran actor Song Kang Ho, signaling a push to strengthen its actor management division.
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook has a busy slate ahead, with the Disney Plus series The Manipulated and director Yeon Sang Ho’s new film Colony set for release later this year. He is also currently filming Netflix’s Scandal (working title) and was recently confirmed for the upcoming drama Human X Gumiho (literal title).
Seolhyun is in the middle of filming Netflix’s Show Business (working title), while Na In Woo is currently appearing in the Japanese TBS drama Love is for the Dogs.
