Park Si Hoo is facing allegations of playing a role in the breakdown of a married couple’s relationship—but now, the accuser’s ex-husband has stepped forward to dispute the claims.
On August 5th, a woman referred to as “A” posted on social media claiming Park had introduced another woman to her then-husband, ultimately contributing to the collapse of their marriage. She shared screenshots of text messages and photos as evidence.
However, the woman whose photo appeared in the messages quickly denied any involvement, leaving a public comment on the post. “I have never met any of the individuals mentioned,” she wrote. “Using my image without permission and spreading false information amounts to clear defamation.”
She added, “I am already facing backlash and confusion because of this. I’ve saved all evidence and screenshots. If the post isn’t taken down or corrected immediately, I’ll pursue legal action.”
More, the ex-husband—identified only as Hwang—has spoken with YTN Star, further distancing Park Si Hoo from the situation. “Park and I are just hometown friends. I was never introduced to any woman by him,” he stated.
Regarding his relationship with A, Hwang explained, “We divorced six years ago. Park Si Hoo has absolutely nothing to do with our family issues. It looks to me like this post was made with the intent of asking for money.”
As for how the text messages were leaked, Hwang alleged that his ex-wife broke into his home while he was traveling and took his work phone, passport, cash, and jewelry—later leaking the messages from the stolen device. He has filed a police report for theft and unlawful entry, and the case is under investigation.
“I feel terrible that a private issue has dragged Park Si Hoo into this,” Hwang stressed. “He’s not that kind of person.”
