BIGBANG member and solo artist G-Dragon has denied dating rumors with TWICE member Sana.
G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated on June 2nd that they “would like to clarify the misunderstanding regarding the dating rumors.”
According to the agency, G-Dragon filmed the YouTube web variety show Dex’s Fridge Interview on April 14th, the day after the final broadcast of MBC’s Good Day. He later attended Coldplay’s concert in Goyang on April 22nd, where TWICE performed as special guests.
During the concert, G-Dragon posted a photo of Sana on the venue’s big screen to his Instagram Story, tagging her personal account. This led to dating rumors circulating among some fans.
In response, the agency explained, “Since the filming of Dex’s Fridge Interview had taken place shortly before, tagging Sana’s personal account was simply a friendly gesture following the variety show shoot.”
They further clarified, “Dex’s Fridge Interview was filmed due to G-Dragon’s friendship with Dex, and Sana was confirmed to appear alongside him the day before the recording. The reason we didn’t address the dating rumors earlier was to avoid spoiling their appearance on the show.”
