Kim Sae Ron’s name continues to make headlines as YouTuber Lee Jin Ho’s endless revelations are aired. Sued by Kim’s bereaved family for defamation and violation of the Stalking Punishment Act on March 17th, Lee Jin Ho continues his mud-slinging after uploading another video about Kim Sae Ron’s hardships during her lifetime.

On the 17th, Lee uploaded a video to his YouTube channel Entertainment President Lee Jin Ho and stated, “A high-ranking official from an educational institution paid Kim Sae Ron’s villa deposit of about 50 million won (roughly $36,000 USD) on her behalf after struggling with extreme financial difficulties since 2023,” and that Kim had been borrowing money from several acquaintances. At that time, an official from an educational institution with whom Kim Sae Ron had a connection provided her 50 million won for her Jeonse, a large sum of deposit money equivalent to the purchase price of real estate in Korea.

However, Lee claims in the video that after Kim passed away in February, an unidentified person visited the real estate agency of her villa during the funeral and demanded the deposit money back.

To add more fuel to the fire, Lee claimed Kim Sae Ron initiated “self-directed drama” after she uploaded photos suggesting a relationship with actor Kim Soo Hyun on social media, even though she was not dating him. The bereaved family claims that this is the spread of false information and filed an additional complaint against Lee for violating the Stalking Punishment Act on the 27th of March, claiming that Lee was exposing the private lives of Kim Sae Ron and the bereaved family.

The police applied to the court for an interim measure to prohibit Lee from approaching them at the request of the bereaved family, and it has reportedly been in effect.

However, Lee refuted this through his YouTube channel, saying, “I confirmed that the broadcast about Kim Sae Ron was not false and had nothing to do with the interim measure,” and “This means that the broadcast series of videos can continue to be released.”
