Taemin has officially denied rumors of a romantic relationship with dancer no:ze, stating that the speculation is “not true.”
On April 17th, Taemin’s agency Big Planet Made released an official statement addressing the matter. “We ask for your understanding regarding the delayed response due to Taemin’s busy schedule,” the agency said. “Taemin and no:ze are close colleagues who have worked together for a long time.” They added, “We kindly ask that unnecessary speculation be refrained from.”
The rumors began circulating on April 15th when photos allegedly showing Taemin and no:ze on a date started spreading across various online communities. The images showed a man and a woman appearing affectionate, hugging and linking arms. While the woman, believed to be no:ze, had her face visible, the man, presumed to be Taemin, wore a hat that concealed most of his face. Despite this, some netizens pointed out similarities to past photos of Taemin shared by SHINee’s Key on social media, further fueling the speculation.
This is not the first time Taemin and no:ze have been swept up in dating rumors. Last year, fans speculated a romantic connection based on similar posts shared by both on social media. Some even claimed to have heard Taemin’s voice in a video no:ze sent to fans via her fan communication platform.
Despite ongoing rumors, Taemin’s agency has reiterated that the two are just good colleagues. “We apologize for the delay in confirming the facts due to Taemin’s ongoing schedule,” they stated. “We respectfully ask that people refrain from excessive speculation moving forward.”
