G-Dragon‘s long-awaited return to the stage after eight years was meant to be a triumphant moment—but technical issues, weather delays, and post-show mess have left fans divided and the artist emotional.

The BIGBANG star wrapped up his 2025 World Tour Übermensch in Korea with two shows on March 29th and 30th at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang. But both nights were plagued by problems.

The first concert started 74 minutes late due to severe weather, while the second was delayed by 30 minutes. With freezing temperatures and strong winds, fans waited shivering, only to experience muffled audio and poor acoustics that left many even struggling to hear the performance. G-Dragon’s vocals reportedly cracked throughout the night, likely due to the cold and strained conditions.

Following the event, G-Dragon shared an emotional Instagram Story, posting a teary-eyed emoji and a video of falling snow outside Seoul World Cup Stadium, seemingly reflecting his mood.

But the trouble didn’t end with the performance. After the final show, images of the trashed venue flooded social media, showing discarded cardboard, plastic, and general waste strewn across the grounds. Disappointed netizens criticized the concertgoers’ lack of cleanup, saying things like, “I’ve never seen a venue this filthy.”

Ironically, ahead of the concerts, G-Dragon had gifted trash bags to residents near the venue as a goodwill gesture to thank them for their cooperation during the tour. Fans noted the disconnect between that thoughtful move and the post-show mess left behind. One user commented, “He should’ve given out those trash bags to his fans, not the neighbors.”

Despite the rocky start, G-Dragon is set to continue his tour across Asia with upcoming stops in Tokyo, Osaka, Manila, Taipei, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong beginning in May.
