
Rosé, Bruno Mars, IVE and PLAVE secured top spots across multiple categories in the February 2025 Circle Chart.
The Korea Music Content Association announced that Rosé and Bruno Mars took first place on the Global K-pop Chart, while IVE led three categories and PLAVE topped two.
Rosé and Bruno Mars have maintained the No. 1 position on the Global K-pop Chart for five consecutive months with their song “APT.” IVE’s third mini-album, IVE EMPATHY, ranked first on the Album Chart with sales of 1,418,177 copies. The album’s title track, “REBEL HEART,” also dominated the Digital Chart with a Circle Index of 67,908,854 and secured the top spot on the Streaming Chart. Meanwhile, PLAVE’s third mini-album, Caligo Pt.1, claimed the No. 1 position on the Retail Album Chart with 634,503 copies sold, while its title track, “Dash,” led the Download Chart.
Other notable performances include Hwang Garam’s “I’m a Firefly”, which topped the BGM, Ringtone, and Karaoke Charts. ZO ZAZZ also had a strong showing, with Do You Not Know? (PROD. Rocoberry) ranking first on both the V Coloring Chart and the Call Connection Sound Chart.
The Social Chart 2.0, which provides a direct look at K-pop’s global influence, saw Squid Game soundtrack composer Jung Jae Il hold the No. 1 position for the second consecutive month. According to MyCelebs, key descriptors for Jung Jae Il included “storm-like,” “versatile musician,” and “winning the highest honor.” The artist who saw the biggest jump in rankings on the Social Chart 2.0 in February was Song Ga In.
The 9th-week Circle Chart for 2025, covering the period from February 23rd to March 1th, saw Rosé and Bruno Mars once again lead the Global K-pop Chart with “APT.” G-Dragon’s “TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)” took first place on both the Digital and Download Charts, while ZEROBASEONE’s BLUE PARADISE topped the Album and Retail Album Charts.
Additionally, the latest Circle Certifications were announced. BOYNEXTDOOR’s HOW? earned a 3x Platinum certification, while TXT’s The Dream Chapter: STAR reached 2x Platinum. SEVENTEEN’s BSS with 2nd Single Album ‘TELEPARTY’, KickFlip’s Flip it, Kick it!, BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom,” and aespa’s “Supernova” each received Platinum certification in their respective categories.
