Netflix has officially announced the production and cast of The Art of Sarah (working title) starring Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jun Hyuk. Helmed by My Name and Extracurricular director Kim Jin Min, this upcoming series promises a riveting exploration of identity, desire and deception.
Shin Hye Sun takes on the role of Sarah Kim, a mysterious character whose name is everywhere, yet she can’t be found anywhere. As the head of a high-end brand’s Asia branch, she suddenly becomes the victim in an unidentified murder case.
Opposite her is Lee Ju Hyuk, playing Mu Gyeong, a relentless detective in the violent crimes unit. As Mu Gyeong investigates Sarah’s murder case, he uncovers startling details about her identity. With each clue, a tangled web of false names, fabricated histories, and concealed ambitions begins to unravel.
At the heart of the show lies a compelling question: who is Sarah Kim, and what truths lie beneath her polished exterior?
