According to industry insiders, the 2003 film Untold Scandal (directed by Lee Jae Yong) is being remade as a Netflix series. Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook have been cast in the lead roles.
Untold Scandal is based on the French novel Les Liaisons dangereuses, with the story adapted to the Joseon era. The original film starred Lee Mi Sook as Lady Cho, Bae Yong Jun as the notorious womanizer Jo Won, and Jeon Do Yeon as the virtuous Lady Suk, who becomes entangled in a wicked love game devised to corrupt her.

With Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook leading the highly anticipated remake, filming is scheduled to begin in March next year.
