In the 42nd week of the Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart) for 2024, artists such as JENNIE and SEVENTEEN made notable achievements.
JENNIE took first place on the Global K-pop Chart with her single “Mantra (Explicit Ver.),” released after about a year. The song carries a message of “loving oneself just as you are.”
SEVENTEEN topped the Album Chart with their 12th Mini Album SPILL THE FEELS, selling 2,674,583 copies. They also ranked first on the Digital Chart (with a Circle Index of 29,151,853) and the Download Chart with the album’s title track, “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled).”
In other chart news, aespa’s “UP (KARINA Solo)” claimed first place on the Streaming Chart, while Davichi’s I’ll Be On Your Side ranked first on the V Coloring Chart.
Meanwhile, new songs ranking within the top 200 of the 42nd-week Global K-pop Chart include: ROSE and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” (2nd place), SEVENTEEN’s “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)” (6th place), ITZY’s “GOLD” (45th place), KISS OF LIFE’s “Get Loud” (71st place)
On the Retail Album Chart, Hwang Young Woong’s On Your Side ranked first, selling 629,245 copies in stores. Notably, the album recorded its highest sales at 4:00 PM on its release day, Tuesday, October 15, during the chart’s tracking period. SEVENTEEN’s SPILL THE FEELS ranked second on the Weekly Retail Album Chart, followed by ITZY’s GOLD in third.
