Boo! Halloween is just around the corner. It may be a time for spooky stories, scary movies, and loads of candy but K-Pop can always be incorporated into the mix.

With various songs, stages, and costumes, it seems Koreans and K-Pop idols love Halloween just as much as people in the West. Check out these K-Pop stages and performances that ooze spooktacular vibes and can put anyone in the Halloween spirit down below.

EVERGLOW – “La Di Da”

If you can’t think of what to be for Halloween this year, the girls of EVERGLOW can inspire you. Not only is the song “La Di Da” a fun and electronic song, but it also livens up the stage alongside our Halloween Spirit. The song’s catchy melody mimics a sort of synthetic “Thriller” sound that makes anyone feel a sugar high. All of the members look so remarkable in their costumes as well that it is almost hard to choose a favorite!

ATEEZ – “The Black Cat Nero”

While this is a remastered version of a classic hit song from the past, ATEEZ revamped “The Black Cat Nero” and made it their own from sound to style. Not only is the choreography dazzling and mesmerizing but the stage outfits and presence are also eerie and manifest the fear of the infamous Black Cat. The performance features a spooky landscape and vibrant red colors that exude a sense of danger and fear that the story comes to life through the lyrics and powerful movements.

HYO – “Deep”

HYO set the stage on fire with her track “Deep.” The song’s electronic loud tune, echoing sirens, and fast-paced drum beats matched with her sharp vocals give a sense of urgency and makes the listener feel a total adrenaline rush. From the MV to the stage, HYO brings on the spook factor with her spider-woman theme. If you’re looking for a song to really pump up your playlist and make everyone dance, this is a track that can’t be beat.

EXO – “Obsession”

Aren’t we all just a little bit obsessed with Halloween? EXO brings out that dark energy with “Obsession” and we can’t get enough of it. While this isn’t a Halloween stage in particular, from head to toe each of the EXO members ooze the Halloween spirit. The dark eye makeup, chic leather outfits, scar makeup, and can we please not forget to applaud Suho’s amazing red devil hair? A devilishly handsome group of men is something to fear!

G-IDLE – “Put It Straight”

Who doesn’t love a good Halloween costume performance? G-IDLE’s “Put It Straight” already had a strong, dark vibe to it and the girls brought it to the next level with their spooky costumes and scary performance. Who knew the undead could be so lively? G-IDLE could easily open a haunted house in Korea after seeing a chilling performance like this one.

ENHYPHEN – “Bite Me”

Who doesn’t love a good classic Vampire look for Halloween? The haunting atmosphere of ENHYPHEN’s “Bite Me” is not only a sexy fun song for any Halloween playlist but also reminds us of how a man with a pretty face can be just as scary as any other Halloween goblin and ghoul. The spooky stage invites us into the Vampire’s den and we are easily hypnotized by their melodic voices. They may take your breath (or blood) away with one sweet dance move.

TWICE – “TT”

Is any Halloween playlist complete without TWICE and “TT” too? The girls have quite a few songs where they don some charming outfits and cutesy costumes, but this fan meeting showcase for “TT” has got to be one of the most thrilling yet! The girls sported some fun costumes in their MV but it is even more exciting to see each member on stage dressing up and enjoying the Halloween spirit. All that’s missing is some Halloween candy!

The Boys – “Whiplash”

As we just learned with IWICE, it wouldn’t be Halloween without a variety of cute and cool costumes right? The Boys do exactly just that with their stage performance for “Whiplash” and deliver a plethora of eye-catching outfits – both adorkable and super stylish! No matter what your Halloween mood is, they can certainly match it with this uplifting and energizing song.

RaNia – “Masquerade”

It is time for the throwbacks! While a lot of new K-Pop songs really go hard for Halloween, older K-Pop groups did enjoy teasing us with some spooktacular concepts. From an ear-piercing shrill echoing into the bridge and a cooing voice singing to the chorus, RaNia’s “Masquerade” was (and still is) an intoxicating song that encapsulates Halloween’s dark and regal energy. The outfits are very high-class as the members reveal what’s behind their masks.

Block B U Kwon – “Joker Stage”

Imitating the Joker was a worldwide phenomenon at one point and Korea was no exception. Although the Joker may be an overdone costume, we have to admit that Block B U Kwon absolutely captures Joker’s infamous style and gestures effortlessly. The stage is dark, menacing and quite a show to witness as the ghouls come out to dance alongside him.

Sunny Hill – “Midnight Circus”

From start to finish, Sunny Hill mastered Halloween in this creepy but melodic track “Midnight Circus.” Comparing romance to a performance, the girls dance amongst the clowns and wire puppets to express how they are still a slave and under control of the one they once loved. What isn’t scary about that? The stage is filled with amazement and is a fun song to have on loop during your next Halloween party.

Kang Daniel – “Paranoia”

Something about “Paranoia” makes us feel uneasy and a little fearful as the melody mimics the feeling of paranoia and adrenaline in such a unique way. Kang Daniel really delivered a unique performance as his smooth but artistic choreography sends us into a frenzy. The song has a strange tempo that really showcases the tension and slow, hazy feeling that can consume you when feeling paranoid. It would come as a surprise to see this performance and not think it is somehow related to Halloween due to is frightening style.

Orange Caramel – “A-ing”

The ladies of Orange Caramel are legends in the K-Pop scene and it would be a crime NOT to include them in this list. Known for all their whacky themes, “A-ing” is one of many songs were the girls sport magical outfits that charm all of their audiences. Despite the various stages, this one in particular seems just right for Halloween as they prance on the stage in their signature Little red Riding Hood outfits.

Feeling scared? Did the dazzling and thrilling performances send shivers down your spine? Be sure to add these songs to your playlist if you like them and follow ZAPZEE for more curated playlists and K-Pop content.
